Natural stone thin veneer is just that…real, natural stone. By cutting off the back of the stone, the bed depth ranges from ¾” to 1 ¼”. The weight is drastically reduced, which allows for no additional support to install, more coverage per ton, hence reduced shipping costs, far faster installation and the ability to use stone in applications previously not possible.

From the traditional use of stone in fireplaces, exterior wainscoting, columns and chimneys…thin veneer opens up stone to use in interior decorating applications such as the kitchen backsplash area, range hoods, showers and bath tiles, bathroom backsplash area and accent walls.

The cost difference between artificial stone and real, natural stone thin veneer is minimal; while the coverage per ton and cost efficiency of thin veneer, make it comparable with full-thickness stone.

The prominent ledge style is available in a natural stone thin veneer. Castle Rock natural stone thin veneer, offers the beauty and permanence of real stone, without the need for additional structural support. With the bed depths averaging 1", stone can be used in places never possible before. Natural stone thin veneer gives the opportunity to match accent walls, bar surrounds, kitchen backsplashes or bathroom walls, with the same stone used for your fireplace, entry columns or exterior wainscoting.

Face values average 4"-6" high and 6"-8" long; while the range is from 2" high by 4" long, up to 12" high and 18" long. Along with the "flats" for the main surface, corners are also available to complete the look of full thickness stone.

Castle Rock Cut Tile Thin Veneer

A superior alternative to ceramic tile, real natural stone can be used in showers, bathroom accent walls, kitchen backsplashes or any, relatively, small-scale application. The look is very natural and yet, elegant and rich. Cut tile thin veneer has the same cut back, 1" average bed depth but with four cut sides to create very clean squares and rectangles, for a tile setting. This look is especially attractive with a seal applied, to bring out the dimension and detail in the stone. Face values average 4"-6" high and 6"-8" long but can range from 3" long by 2" high, to 12" long by 10" high.
