Step grade stone can range from 5"-8" rises (or height), with lengths ranging from 3'-7' and tread depths (width) averaging 2.5'-3.5'. An average step is 3'-5'L by 2.5'D by 7" H and weighs between 700-1,000 pounds each. Steps will have a relatively smooth top, with some natural clefting.
